February Highlights

Olympics

We spent some time talking about the Olympic games this week.  We talked about the different sporting events, and about the spirit of the games being about coming together in friendship.  I showed them on a map where Russia is in relation to Canada.  They really liked the map!  We colored in the Olympic rings.

Music and Movement 

This week is all about music, dance, and yoga. We had a dance instructor in on Monday and she taught us a few new dances and Melissa from our CAPC program came to teach us yoga on Wednesday.  Friday we made our own instruments and danced around the class with them.

The Letter "C"

Today was all about the letter "Cc"!  We created cupcake pictures, colored a picture of a camel and crawled like caterpillars.

The Letter "K"

Today was all about the letter "Kk"!  We created a crown for our K kings to wear, made a picture of a kite and hopped like kangaroos.
